Black Mesa Nougat's Niska (Niska) Born 4/7/08 CAE Status: Negative G6S Status: Normal Summer 2008: When Niska and her friend, Peri, were born, they were adopted by Lutzi, an Oberhasli that had just come to the ranch. We let our kids bond to their moms, but bottle feed them so that they don't nurse. It is a strategy that works very well for us and for the kids and does. In Niska's case it worked doubly well since she had two moms to watch over her. Yes, Niska is a bit spoiled from all the attention...and probably will always be so.
