Summer 2008:

Peri and Niska are best buddies.  They were adopted by Lutzi, an Oberhasli doe, when they were born and she took very good care of them.  Lutzi protected them, ran to them when the cried or got lost, and let them jump all over her while she tried to sleep.  As a result of all that pampering, Peri just doesn't understand that she isn't invincible.  She rides in the 4-wheeler, explores inside the UPS truck, and feels right at home in the milking parlor.  She is definitely a very self-assured little girl.

Peri is the first daughter of our buck Marco.
