July 2008 update:

Espy now easily towers over all the other goats.  She is a giant.  It's a good thing this girl is so easy going and cooperative!  Espy loves to come in twice a day for milking and does a great job of it.  Congrats to Espy for being named an Elite Doe by the USDA for the second year in a row!  She was also awarded her Superior Genetic title last fall.

July 2007 update:

Espy is still a big girl – tall and lanky.  She is only a yearling now but is as tall as some of our full grown girls.  She is milking as much as some of them also!  She is a great contributor to our cheesemaking.  Like her half-sister Cinnamon, she is a bit shy coming into the milking parlor, but once in and up on her stand she relaxes and enjoys herself.

6/06:   Espy is a big girl.  She was born big (9.5#) and continues to grow.  She’s a strapping girl and quite stunning to see.  She has a nice presence about her. She pretty much hangs with her friends and doesn’t need too much human lovin’, but when she does, we just love loving on her.
