Black Mesa Ranch - The Flavor of the White Mountains™
2009 Workshops All of our workshops are totally customized experiences! We don't follow a set lesson plan for everyone. YOU tell us what you want to learn or experience and that is what we do. We've had groups that just wanted to hang out with the goats and eat great food, we've also had people that wanted to know in detail how to design their dream dairy. These people all had a wonderful time and felt that their time here was well spent. When you reserve your workshop we'll send you a questionnaire in order to find out what your interests are so that we can give you the best possible custom experience. Our Workshop Schedule for 2009 is: May 21 - 23 June 18 - 20 July 2 - 4 August 6 - 8 September 10 - 12 We also welcome and encourage groups of 2 or more to contact us about other available times. We want you to be able to plan your time here so that it is convenient for you. We need a minimum of two participants for each workshop. If a time slot does not have at least 2 fully paid reservations by 2 weeks before the date, that workshop will be cancelled. Your workshop is for a FULL three days and three nights. That is not necessarily "calendar days" so, for example, if you arrive in the afternoon on a Wednesday your workshop would run until Saturday afternoon. See how that works on our "Typical Workshop Schedule" The 3 Day Workshop is $1000/person with a two person minimum. You will actually be working with and milking the goats, and making at least three different types of cheese. Also included are all meals, sleeping accommodations in the bunkhouse, and pick-up/drop off from either the Snowflake shuttle depot or Show Low airport if needed. To schedule your workshop please call us at (928) 536-7759 or email David. |
